Westfield and Union County in general are not so far away from 6 Flags Great Adventure - a short trip down the Turnpike.  If you like going to see the animals in the Drive-thru Safari, you should know that this is the last year it will be open to private cars.  No more drive-thrus wondering if a monkey is going to steal one of your mirrors!

After September 30, that chapter is drawing to a close.  The area has been described as the world's largest drive-through safari outside of Africa.  Six Flags refer to significant changes for 2013 but more information is still to come when the park releases information on August 30 for the 2013 season.

Meantime, if you want to drive on the wild side, this year is your last chance to do it in your own car!
