Home Prices Up By Double Digits In Many Metro Areas

Median Price of a single family home rose in 88 percent of U.S. metro areas during the third quarter of 2013.  Condominium prices headed upwards, as well.  Showing its strongest annual growth in nearly eight (8) years end of third quarter collected by National Association of Realtors.  National median existing single-family home price was $207,300 in the third quarter, up 12.5 percent from $184,300 in the third quarter of last year.  That's the strongest year over year increase since the fourth quarter of 2005  when the median home price jumped 13.6 percent.
