Home Seller Tips STORAGE UNIT RENTAL
When you are preparing to place your house on the market, one of the first things you should do is to look at your home through the eyes of a potential buyer. And one of the things that turns potential buyers away from a property quickly is clutter.
It is important to view your home and its contents as an objective person would. After all, you may know that your living room is full of antiques you've inherited from an aunt, but a buyer may just see it as a dark room too full of furniture. You may realize that the main bath has lots of storage space. However, if the shelves and cabinets are filled to overflowing with hygiene and first aid items, that sorage area may not look so spacious.
To make your home more appealing to potential buyers, clear out any clutter you may have so they can picture the home the way they would want to live in it. One great way to do this is to rent a storage unit. Usually these units can be rented by the month. Most storage companies also sell boxes and packing supplies as well, which makes it easy to start your packing in preparation for your own move.
There are professionals who provide de-cluttering and organizing services and can guide you through the process. I have a few that I can recommend if you would like help.
